TUESDAY July 12 Astrology and Terrorism comment Astrology is a kind of language. When planets line up, we astrologers read a coded message in the patterns they are forming. Over thousands of years, we have learned to translate many symbols. We have, for example, long known which alignments suggest a natural disaster... or a war... or a time when accidents are more likely. Terrorism though, is a relatively new phenomenon. Nobody yet knows exactly how it fits into the 'cosmic vocabulary'. But we are working on this as fast as we can. |
WEDNESDAY July 13 Quotations 'Peace cannot be achieved through violence; it can only be attained through understanding' Albert Einstein. 'An eye for an eye will leave the whole world blind' Mahatma Ghandi. 'I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become reality. I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word' Martin Luther King. |
THURSDAY July 14 Terrorism predictions comment For several days now, I have been striving to understand what really happened last week - and how it slipped under the astrological radar. I am now in a position to give a firm prediction. Though this is sadly not the last outrage the world will ever see, the future will bring fewer, not more, such attacks. All over the globe, these will tend to be on a progressively smaller scale. And the dark cloud over Britain will not return. We certainly need have no fear of travelling by train, tube or bus in London or any other city. |
FRIDAY July 15 Public Transport email Dear Jonathan, How can you be so sure that it is now safe to travel by public transport in Britain? Paula Dear Jonathan, Dear all who sent me emails yesterday. |
SATURDAY July 16 Saturn comment Your week ahead Like characters in a soap opera, the planets have different personalities. Some pop up in almost every episode. Others only turn up once in a while. When something does happen in their story though, it has a big impact. Saturn takes about 27.5 years to complete one circuit of the zodiac. Since June 2003, it has been passing through Cancer. Cancerians have risen well to this challenge even if they don't yet realise it. The sign of Cancer though, governs issues relating to 'home and family'. No matter what sign you are, there has been some drama in this part of our world lately - and Saturn's influence has been behind it. This weekend, Saturn moves into the next sector of the sky. It's good news for Cancerians, for people who are close to Cancerians... and for all who are hoping for less stress on the domestic front. It's not, though, bad news for Leos. Next week, in my daily column, I shall explain why.
